VIDEO: Lionel Richie duets with son-in-law Joel Madden

(WENN) - Lionel Richie teamed up with his son-in-law Joel Madden on the Australian version of The Voice on Sunday night for a rendition of the veteran singer's hit song "Easy." 

Good Charlotte star Madden, who is married to Richie's daughter Nicole, serves as a judge on the competition and during the first part of the final on Sunday, he duetted with his father-in-law on one of his best-loved tracks.

The collaboration clearly impressed Madden's fellow judge Keith Urban, who declared on Twitter:

Panel member Delta Goodrem gushed, "thank you both for sharing that wonderful performance with us all so special."

The second part of the finale will air in Australia on Monday night.
