(KTRH) Vice President Joe Biden offered a rebuttal of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney before the nation's largest civil rights organization, defending President Barack Obama's record before black voters.
After arriving late due to heavy rain and street flooding in Houston, Biden began by saying, "I’m a lifetime member of the NAACP. There’s an old saying, ‘You go home with those that brung you to the dance.’ You brought me to the dance."
Right out of the box Biden made a pitch for his boss to be reelected for a second term as the president, “When the economy was about to go over the cliff, I watched the president make some tough decisions.” To applause Biden continued, “ He saved the nations economy… he saved the world’s economy.”
