REVIEW: What To Expect When You’re Expecting

Among the 10 stars prepping for parenthood: Chris Rock, Elizabeth Banks and Anna Kendrick stand-out . Kendrick is earnest while Rock and Banks score the funniest moments.

This movie is definitely NOT what I was expecting.  With the book being a virtual bible for the soon-to-push, what we get (with one unexpected turn)  is a very shallow script  that  could have drawn from  a wealth  of  rich material.  What a letdown.

Not that it matters. This movie has a built-in audience of soon-to-be  and recent parents. Yes- there are some laughs  but I expected better.
